I would love to hear about any more places to read about Real Estate that are not westside-centric. Considering how many people live on the eastside here, it is amazing how some of these blogs try to pretend it does not exist.

Ben, do you mean east side of the Seattle area (Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, etc…), or east side of the state (Ellensburg, Spokane, etc…)?

I also read http://thehousingbubbleblog.com/ It gives a nice overview of what else is going on in the country. My only dislike is that it’s really doomy-gloomy over there.

Wow AndySeattle, The Housing Bubble Blog is too “doomy-gloomy” for you? You better keep away from Housing Panic then.

I mean “The Eastside” as defined by the Puget Sound area folk (Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, etc).

I lived in Sydney, Australia before here and I don’t remember it being so provincial. The Seattle Times makes me feel like the world ends at the 520/90 bridges whenever they do a story, because they give anecdotes or statistics without mentioning the Eastside at all.

I also love me some Calculated Risk, which covers the bigger economic picture also. Best signal-to-noise ratio I’ve ever found in comments, and the posts are knowledgeable, balanced..and often hysterically funny.
