I Voted the Largest Yard Possible

Of course I’d leave a greenbelt privacy forrest between me and my neighbors.

I have 4 acres on a dead end… no neighbors. Don’t think I can ever go back.
Privacy and peace and quiet is priceless!

I lived on 10 acres in Michigan. I live on 1/4 acre in Sammamish. Trees are healthy here. The emerald ash borer was reeking destruction on the trees on my Michigan property. Folks have a lot more going on here. In Michigan, the surrounding area was W. Bush land, i.e., faintly detectable neural activity. I’d like 5-10 acres here for the drone launching pad.

Now that the Red Baron is gone, how ’bout we junk the 5 post rule. People are having regular conversations, although occasionally controversial, I think they are all worth having…. all I’m seeing now is truncated conversations that could go much further, perhaps to a conclusion of concensus.

Neighbors get pissed with the chopper coming and going if there isn’t at least ten acres. Plus it’s fun to ride on the tractor.

Judging by the thumbs up, I smell the opportunity for a new poll! ;-)

As to this poll, I wouldn’t call a 3,000 square foot lot a lot of “modest” size. That might be relatively big in the City of Seattle, but elsewhere that is a postage stamp size lot. I usually consider under 5,000 to be a small lot.
