Buyers Agent?

Postby eastcoaster » Mon May 31, 2010 8:52 am

Has anyone had experience using a "buyers agent" such as Redfin or $500 dollar realty?
We found a home on our own in Bothell and were wondering if we should use one or the other.

Thanks in advance.

Both 500 Realty and Redfin have happy customers who have posted of their good experiences on here, but neither are exclusively buyer's agents. Both of them offer part of the commission back to the buyer. They aren't your only options.
Zip Realty also refunds part of the commission, so does Findwell, and so do I. If you've found a home and want to make an offer, I don't really see any problem with using a discount/rebate agent.
