Is there a way to point to the last page of a thread?

For example: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1434&start=315 points to a specific page of the thread -- can I have a similar link that will always point to the last page of the thread?

No.

You can point to the first unread post, but this varies on the person clicking the link.
