I just wanted to suggest to everybody on this forum, that - if your congress-person voted against the bailout - now would be an excellent time to write them a letter of thanks.
It's good to write with how angry you are over the bailout vote, but it's even better to write back and say how thankful you are that it didn't pass. This type of encouragement will help steel the resolve of those congress-persons who are trustworthy and ethical. After all, a pat on the head is usually more successful than a spanking.
