SFH vs TownHome vs Condo

Hi all.

Just want to say that I really appreciate the discussions that go on here.

Also, I have a request for anybody who can help me out. My wife and I are looking into the pros and cons of SFH vs Townhome vs Condo. Are there any sites that have data comparing these three? In particular, we would like to see:

1. Trends in costs for each
2. avg interior size of each, avg lot size (of SFH)
3. value retention of each
4. value growth
5. data on location? I assume there are more condos the closer you get to a big city.
6. proportion of new housing being sfh, th, or condo.

To be clear, we are not investors/flippers. In fact, we don't even have the money to be seriously looking in this market. However, we are keen to the speculation that prices may be falling soon and want to be up with market conditions when the right situation comes along.
