House inspectors - how to find a good one?

Are there any associations/groups that provide references/ratings on house inspectors? I'm thinking of buying later this year and would like to increase my chances of finding an inspector that is independent, as well as competent.

I picked my home inspector, Charles Buell, after reading his . He did a very thorough job.

I'm a fan of Marty Sederburg@ Urban Dwelling Inspection...Thorough, independent, funny, with a healthy dislike of real estate agents.
