Hi Alan,

Did you see this CNN video clip? It's about people who are facing foreclosure burning down their houses, hoping to collect the insurance money.

That doesn't surprise me. Desparate people take extreme measures. We can expect other crime statistics to go up too.

Nice NTS in Kirkland on a million dollar home......and just from snooping around on Google it looks like the guy is a mortgage lender!

Funny. I saw that this morning too.

It isn't trivial to get the actual addresses for the NTS's. You actually have to open the scan of the document. You can get a description on the search page, but it gives some sort of legal description of the neighborhood. That particular house said "Kirkland" which is why I looked at it.

The map shows a house behind this one on a flagpole lot. It looks like the property was subdivided.

He is only $25k behind. I doubt this will actually go to auction.

I may have misstated. This is a Bankruptcy sale. I do not know if it is a "court ordered" Bankruptcy sale. However it may be an interesting one to watch since the Trustee's sale is next friday. It also appears that the outstanding mortgages total $1,250,000. I'm sure the current market won't support that price.

I have many information sources, some that I pay a fee for. Just one of my (many) value added services I offer as a Realtor.
