Mercer Island Based Norris Homes Resorts to Spam
Just received this delightful spam email from a local homebuilder:

It was sent to an email that I have never given out, and is not provided as a contact address anywhere on the site. The only place someone could get this email address would be to code-scrape Seattle Bubble and extract it from the "DONATE" link above.
Pretty slimy move on the part of Norris Homes, if you ask me. How ironic that the spam is advertising the "Integrity Collection" of homes.
Update: Just noticed that they sent the same spam to my personal PayPal-only email address as well. Classy. Not sure where they got that one, though it has occasionally received spam from other sources in the past.

Norris made a lot of money on the way up, but they are falling just as hard. Sad thing is, even as banks are starting to takes homes back, they are in complete denial, and are pricing houses in MV in the high 4's and 5's.
John's home is pretty nice for all 10k sq feet of it, with a separate wing for his daughter. Too bad when you walk outside to the pool and have fun you can't hear anyone talking because of I-90 few hundred feet south of you.
Tim, and you give yourself too much credit. "Unknown" emails consistantly show up in email marketeres lists.
