  • College Station, TX is undervalued? They've obviosuly never lived there. Nothing within 100 miles but Texas A&M. That place is a poster child for BFE.
  • Yes, I noticed Lubbock on there as well.

I should mention that all of these places are probably most 'undervalued' by people who understand what the next energy crisis is going to do to the viability of constant, year-round air conditioning...
  • Seattle/PNW may be the best place to ride out the energy crisis / peak oil, wouldn't you think?

Nearly all of our power is generated by Hydro and we'll never worry about rainfall right? How much do we rely on the snowmelt for drinking water?

I can't imagine living in S. Cal, Vegas or anywhere in Florida. Water everywhere but not a drop to drink!

Well, you need snowpack to generate all that hydropower. And don't forget about how much of it is under contract for sale to california...
  • I think that lack of water is going to make Vegas tank even harder.

I still wonder why someone would want to live in that tacky tourist trap...almost as much as I wonder why someone would want to live in Los Angeles.
