I noticed that you can buy e-tickets online for $2 off the at-the-door price. Is that the same discount?

    Holy Cow!
Let’s see if this works. The gavatar had a hard time getting past my spam filter. There again that’s one of the charms of the internet. Some things just don’t work.
The google ads that I clicked on seem to be for some high powered Real Estate scam sites. Is that correct?
There again I thought it was strange when the pepper started advocating rodfun, or the educate yourself tag line.
With this new look it all galvanized for me. The rain guide predictors and professionals of real estate swindles all coming and going from this blog to the other, it all makes sense now.
What’s sad is that there are people who come to this site as an alternative that will be redirected to internet real estate business models designed solely for quick profit.
You’ve entered the world, in my opinion, of the online sports picks or e-trade predictions.
    Best of luck.

I was thinking of going, but I went to the Tacoma one instead last weekend. These kind of events are OK now and then; I like looking at all the cool stuff but I can’t deal with salespeople for very long. Plus I think I’ve got enough schwag to last me quite a while.

What’s the point of the home show? I haven’t heard about it yet and don’t want to research.

The home show showcases products of many kinds primarily for homeowners, ranging from hot tubs to garden products to new kitchens to eco groovy tankless water heaters to finance folks to building materials to internet access providers, roofers, etc. They often have prizes and giveaways where they get your phone #, call you and tell you “you didn’t win the Cadillac Escalade, but you have won a free CD of Marie Osmond’s Greatest hits, and all you need to do to get it is come to our showroom and take a tour of our products.”

Here in Portland, one of the two remodeling etc. shows was in town – but this time, we got a postcard in the mail advertising free admission for two. Hurting for remodel business already?

Too-funny S Crow. Yes, we will have 200 shirts to pass out. “Your only True Friend In Real Estate.” Please if I’m there introduce yourself as a bubbler. I don’t know you all by your names on here so don’t worry if you have been unkind. Its all in good Fun and education right?

The shows are actually entertaining. I went to the T Dome show this weekend and it was packed on Saturday. The kids are free and they had alot of fun.

And my GOD! Whats with the complaining about my Avatar and my constant self promotion? If you do NOT like us don’t use us. Please do NOT click on link. Do you really want me to change my Avatar? Will that make you all happier? Do you want me to stop signing off http://www.500Realty.net ?

I Remember I owe a couple people lunch. You can collect on the weekends. I will be there ALL day 16/17/23/24. You will be able to pick me out. I’m bald, 41, quite handsome, and you will most likely see me yelling about something in/re to Real Estate!

Ray’s a character – I think we should go easy on him. If you don’t want to click on his link then you don’t have to. The difference between Ray and a spammer is that he’s posting actual content about deals he’s making in certain areas and he’s on topic. He’s also pretty plain spoken that a lot of King County isn’t exactly cash-flow positive right now from a rental investment perspective. He’s not your average perma-bull Realtor(TM).

Diversity of opinion and profession is a good thing, in my opinion, as we’ll learn more and will be less likely to start drinking our *own* Kool aid. Most people on this site want to buy into real estate at some point, and an honest real estate agent with an opinion you trust is perhaps the best placed person to let you know when that time might be.

When Ray starts telling us about these GEMS he’s buying in Greenlake and how he’s cashflow positive on them, then you know that you were right to ALWAYS BE LOOKING. :)

    Thank you and good day.
