Let’s have a look at the latest data from the Case-Shiller Home Price Index<\/a>. According to June data that was released this morning, Seattle-area home prices were:<\/p>\n

Up<\/strong> 1.4 percent May to June
\nUp<\/strong> 11.0 percent YOY.
\nUp<\/strong> 5.3 percent from the July 2007 peak<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Over the same period last year prices were up 1.0 percent month-over-month and year-over-year prices were up 7.3 percent.<\/p>\n

The Seattle area’s Case-Shiller home price index hit yet another new all-time high in June, and turned in stronger numbers than a year ago across the board. This is no surprise really, given the June data we’ve already seen from public records and NWMLS.<\/p>\n
