A listing agent could change the price of a home by some insignificant amount, pop it to the &#8220;hot sheets&#8221; the buyers&#8217; agents relied on, and get a bunch of attention for their listing.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, buyers today have the information advantage, and such games rarely work anymore.  Of course, that doesn&#8217;t stop some agents from trying.
