Let’s have a look at the latest data from the Case-Shiller Home Price Index<\/a>. According to February data, Seattle-area home prices were:<\/p>\n

Down<\/em> 0.2% January to February
\nUp 9.3% YOY.<\/strong>
\nDown<\/em> 26.7% from the July 2007 peak<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last year prices fell 0.8% from January to February and year-over-year prices were down 2.9%.<\/p>\n

I was actually expecting a bit of a bump up from January to February, so it’s a little surprising to see a slight drop. I’m 99% certain we’ll see an increase next month though.<\/p>\n
