Rental Townhomes

Hi, guys! I've been lurking at Seattle Bubble for quite some time. I don't know how many of you follow the rental market, but I figure you at least know the area and can maybe help me out a bit as I search for a home to rent.

I'm taking a tour of these http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/apa/280679033.html
and another townhouse this weekend. The ones in the craigslist link are located at 6821 Weedin Pl NE.

Does anyone know anything about these or have any thoughts on the location, neighborhood, price, etc.?

In my senior year at the UW (3 years ago) I had a studio about 7 blocks southeast of there (63rd & Roosevelt).

The neighborhood is okay. I locked a decent Trek road bike in my parking garage with a U-lock and some lowlife actually tried to use a car jack to pop the lock off. He failed but managed to scratch the bike's frame.

There's an alternative school on Ravenna Blvd two blocks away from there -- which has some thuggish characters around.

That house is RIGHT up against the freeway. Do you like freeway noise?

If you have 2 cars in your household, street parking is pretty awful (1 car garage, doesn't look like a 2nd parking place in the driveway). Something to consider.

We just have one car, but parking is definitely something to consider for visitors. Good to know.

I'm not too keen on being right up against the freeway, but having easy access to it appeals to my husband as he needs to commute to Redmond.
