    Really? The article isn't too clear on whether these people were arrested for recent transgressions or old ones. The headline arrests are certainly related to past sins from the bubble days. Most of the fraud cases I have heard about relate to deals that occured prior to August 2007, and usually even before 2007.

    I suspect that mortgage fraud has severely declined in the last year, now that lenders actually care a wee bit about the quality of the loans they make.
