David Lereah is quitting!

edited April 2007 in Housing Bubble
David Lereah, NAR Chief Economist, Joins Move Inc.

I especially like this quote...

David is an expert on real estate and the economy, and his stature and
expertise enhanced NAR's position as the most credible source on economic
and policy issues affecting the housing industry in the United States and
abroad,"

What a crock of s**t. I am assuming the national association of Realtors will keep him on as a "special consultant" for his wisdom and sage-like quotes.

  • At least he is putting his money where his mouth is...starting up a business in the RE industry.
  • it's probably the only job he could get. What other industry wants a black stain on it?

Hell, the NAR probably paid them to take him off their hands...
  • Sorry for the semi-off-topic post, but this forum, about Lereah, is another example where the right side of the "page" is cut off, and I cannot read the words on the right. The primary blog and some of the forums do not have this problem. Fix?
  • This happens to me, too. I normally use Firefox, and the "right side cut off" thing happens if someone includes a link or graphic in their post that exceeds the right hand margin of the post block. I can't tell whether it happens only if the first poster exceeds the margin or if any post does it. Anyways, the only "fix" that works for me is to view the particular forum using Internet Explorer 7.
