ARM RESET GRAPH

edited May 2007 in Housing Bubble
I know that many of you (of not all) have seen the ARM reset graph, but I find it so important to my understanding of what lies ahead, that I actually keep the jpeg on my computer. It's a warning not to jump into the market too early. Look at 2011, where there's another massive reset. I keep envisioning a boxing match where some poor dope is up against the ropes and hit and hit keep landing squarely on his jaw. Is 2011 a knockout punch, or is the poor sap already on the floor by then?

  • Isn't the ARM reset schedule a moving target? I've heard that many people have been refinancing to avoid the resets (except for the few unfortunate souls who don't have enough equity). Maybe these curves keep moving out as people refinance?

Cool! You posted the image! I couldn't figure out how to do that.

Clarification - I posted a link to the same chart in the "Economics" forum. Hey, what's a little redundancy amongst fellow bubbleheads!

Update: Here's a link to the entire original report (beware - 67 pages long)
