In the "Those crazy real estate professionals" thread we got a little off-topic a while back talking about malls and shopping and such so I thought I'd start a separate thread.

    I now think January saw an uptick of "deal seekers" and that if you go to a mall today you'll get a much better image of what actual demand is. I don't have much evidence, but my guess is it isn't very pretty. Anyone actually been to a mall in the last couple weeks?
