I live in the 98178 zip code, and yes, there are some of the lowest housing prices in the Seattle area in that zip code. I live at the south end of the zip code, further away from Skyway , closer to downtown Renton...But everything in the zip code gets painted with the Skyway brush.
So, if it starts at the bottom, the Skyway area is a good example of that. Columbia City has not seen the big drops that Skyway and Rainer Beach have...
'Bout that restaurant, I tried going a couple of times when they were supposed to be open but they weren't. I loved the idea of eating in an Italian/Soull Food place.....A couple of blocks south of there is a new pizza place that's very comparable or better than Tutta Bella, and downtown Renton has my favorite restaurant anywhere in the Seattle area,
What's the place in Renton? Don't hold out on us, man!
Is the pizza place you're talking about the one along the waterfront? Used to be the Lakeside Tavern (or whatever that one was, right there by the jog in the road)?
My husband is a pizza fanatic and if it's good we want to know about it!
Better still if they deliver--not a whole lot of delivery options for good pizza 'round these parts.
Yes, the pizza place is the former lakeside Tavern, now Pizzeria Pulcinella, and the place in downtown Renton is the Red House, the most absolutely awesome place around.
....and 16th and Spruce ain't exactly the top of Queen Anne, though I guess there's the Home of Good BBQ premium.
yeah, i wish they would have built more neighborhood stores and fewer endless clones of townhouses around here... seattle doesn't know how to develop neighborhoods... good BBQ is good though...
