What kind of mortgage must they be carrying if they have to rent the unit for $8000? I would think that people with that kind of money would have more sense than to pay that kind of money.

  • and why are they advertising on craiglist? isn't that kind of like trying to sell Prada at WalMart?
  • if selling at wal-mart is free, why not?

    any exposure is exposure.

Yeah, I heard Britney Spears said that. Then she showed her lady business to the paparazzi :D
  • Man...you guys missed the really good one...the same floorplan...(furnished and 4 floors lower) was listed up until a couple days ago for 15k/month.

Hey they might hit the lottery and snag some Japanese exec, where it's just a business expense, looking for a short term lease.
  • too many other condos available.

good luck with selling these condos too, high rise, half hotel, million plus. even before the guideline tighten, it was hard to get mortgage with 20% down.
  • If they rent that thing I'll eat my apartment.
  • I took a tour of the place recently. Great Views (obviously) but a pretty lame floor plan when it comes to the 2nd BR and their use of glass partition walls and "flex space" as they call it IMO.

Flex space? Just give me a decent floor plan and call it done.

The kitchen is the "trophy" area of the unit. Still...obscenely expensive IMO...especially at the for sale asking price of $2,525,000. One of the lamest things about the place (also just my opinion) is the parking situation...valet parking...so expect to tip the valet every time you take your car out.
