Count the cars

How many people live in this house?

How many of them are helping to pay the mortgage?

How much income does a person need to earn to pay 1/6th of a $300k mortgage?

  • That's a strange one. Smells like fraud.

Mary Jane sold it a year ago for 100K profit after owning it for just a little over a year.

Then Nem Vuthy tries to sell it for a 50K loss, in an appreciating market, a year after that?

Maybe 50K cash-back under the table during the last sale? That's the only way I can see this making sense.
  • The $370K sale probably came with a car. Judging by what's in that driveway, probably more than one.
  • Hey, it's got a koi pond--that's gotta be worth an extra $75K, right?

My friend's house in Beaverton had one, with actual koi in it. For awhile. Between the racoons and the herons, all of them disappeared over a few month period and he never bothered to buy more.
  • Could this be a short sale? Would you see any evidence of it?
  • I don't know how to get mortgage info, but it's parcel 0241500035 and has a notice of an on-site sewage system. They are apparently now calling it their "Beautiful 3 level water feature." I don't know the regs in this state, but on 1/4 acre with a failed septic system they're going to need 1 of those parking spots for a porta-potty.

What do you mean? I actually had his and her hot tubs installed in the home theater instead of seats. People think theater seating is something special, well you should see the look on their face when they saw those home theater hot tubs.

Had some problems with steam buildup on the plasma and AV equipment, but it was so worth it.

Before we sold we were looking at putting in a hot tub in the breakfast nook, so we could have our meals while in the hot tub. You just have to have an open mind about the possibilities. Hot tubs aren't just for decks anymore. 8)
