This may be time to buy and hold for real estate investors

Serdar Bankaci, president and CEO of Default Research Inc., which analyzes mortgage defaults in California and other states, says this may prove to be a very good time for investors to buy real estate and hold it until market conditions improve.

A tougher market to turn a profit is Seattle, Wash., where because of strong job growth, home prices are not sliding like in parts of California.

"Home prices have continued to rise in Seattle making it more difficult for real estate investors to buy the properties and to make a profit," says Mr. Bankaci.

  • If prices are rising, doesn't that make it easier to turn a profit?

Maybe the key word here is "investor" vs "speculator". I had to read that a few times before it made ANY sense.
  • Ah yes, dredging up old Serdar again are we?

He is really the market oracle. You should buy his ebookThe Pre-Foreclosure Real Estate Handbook today!

There was a post to a "Default Research" press release earlier this week. It was so poorly written, it was difficult to classify it as english.

Honestly Shug, do you really believe half the crap you link to, or are you just yanking everybody's chain? This one is really scraping bottom
