  • I weep for them, they can't live their million dollar lifestyle anymore...how can they live without 6 figure income to sustain their 10k monthly payment?
  • Trading in the 'vette for a Suburban is not exactly roughing it. Maybe in Orange County it is. Renting would be a fate worse than death for them. Poor babies. No more free season tickets for you!

10 to 1 they divorce in the next year.
  • I'm not sure what the point of the article really was. I mean, if you want sympathy you pick people who are 'average' (ie people can relate to them) and show how they are devistated. E.g. a construction worker who was laid off and now can't afford the $800 a month 2 bedroom apartment he shares with his wife and two small children (to make up an example).

But $10,000 a month!?!?! Is this satire or an actual pity me request? This is like a retired president complaining he has to fly in a regular chartered plane now instead of airforce one.
  • "Only $1,800 to cover $10,000 in bills

Their home equity line, mortgage, health and life insurance premiums alone cost about $10,000 a month. Still, they are trying to hang onto what they call their dream home with a view of the Pacific Ocean where they live with Mysti's 11-year old son."
  • heh, a Suburban for a vette? The horror. I'm sure that Suburban gets much better gas mileage than the vette. He should have bought a Civic hybrid, etc... As for the rest of their "plight", I have no sympathy. :)
