It’s got unnecessarily crude language and site design that’s still pretty rough around the edges, but Cheap$#!& Condos is still pretty funny. I hope whoever is behind it keeps updating.

OMG that was good for a laugh. I’ve never seen so many butt ugly condos before… Wow.

Apparently if you paint "chocolatey" apartments from the 60’s with “trendy” colors and give it a stupid name you can just reel them in. I wish I had been a developer about three years ago, easier money than running a casino.

Reminds me of the saying “lipstick on a pig.”

B…
I was wondering…if we bubbleheads were to buy one of these “chocolatey” condos…does that mean we have graduated from the class of the great unwashed?

Wow. Maybe those condos will sell due to their ugliness? Like those real bad movies that get cult status?

Funny that we thought this for years: all of those condos were within a few blocks of where I lived on Capitol Hill. We watched the neighborhood be flooded/replaced by those monstrosities until we gave up and moved to a neighborhood that was not a full attack on the eyes and sensibilities.
Each one of these comes with their own Kinkos, Quiznos and/or Coffee Shoppe.

I walk by the “trendsetters” place all the time. I hate that building. I’m also particularly annoyed by all the “live historic” advertisements. Is it really vintage if there’s a big green advertisement/sign out in front of the building?

@8: Don’t knock Kinkos, Quiznos and/or Starbucks/insert-favorite-indy-coffee-joint-here. I’d never leave the building if it had those.

Loved the picks - I’m originally from Seattle, living in NJ now- we have some butt-ugly condos here, too.
I recall a building that was flush up against Rt 280 (you could reach out of your living room window and touch the cars commuting 24/7) that advertised itself as “close to transit”.
