10 free passes to the WAMP tradeshow Tues, Oct 6

If you are interested in attending the Wash State Assoc of Mortgage Professionals (the old WAMB which stood for WA Assoc of Mortgage Brokers) convention this week, I have 10 free passes to the trade show on Tues, Oct 6th which runs from 2 to 6PM at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

At the height of the bubble, this trade show was quite the event. Massive, towering trade show booths, all kinds of free booze, hot trade show babes, I remember an ice sculpture that was built like a luge. The vendor poured the shot into the top and it came out of the bottom right into the broker's mouth.

You know, I might even have film footage from that trade show. I think it was 2005.

Well I'm sure it will be much more subdued this year.

    If you have video footage from the 2005 show, and take some video of the show this year, that could make quite an interesting comparison. Email me if you find that old footage and would like to possibly collaborate on splicing together footage from the two.

    Okay I will fire up the old video cam for tomorrow, then i wil hunt for the old footage!

    I have some new film footage from the trade show today. It was fun and there were way more attendees than I thought would show up. I'm going to guess probably close to 150. That's still way less than the headcounts during the glory days.

    The trade show give aways were suprisingly phallic shaped. What's up with that? Large cigars, giant pens. I have it all on film. Tim, how do I get you the film footage?
