Temporary Housing Suggestions

I have a friend that's looking for temporary (furnished) housing for a month or two in the Seattle area, downtown north to Ballard, Shoreline or Edmonds. Any ideas for me besides the Residence Inn? They're quoting $3900/month for a studio and I've got to think there are better options out there. Thanks!
