Seattle/Eastside price per sqft
I'm perplexed by the price per sqft in Seattle area (my focus is the Eastside.) How can it be $300/sqft or more for houses less than 10 years old when it can be as low as $100/sqft or less in other states? Could you please share your understanding/insight on what makes construction cost in Seattle area so high (let's assume the building grade is "good" as that of King County assessment)? Or is the price per sqft mostly comprised of the value of the land? Or is it 30% overvalued?
