The P.I. recently ran a story headlined Proving your home is not worth that much. How ironic... That double digit appreciation doesn't look so good now that your taxes are going up, does it?

    Property taxes here are very low considering we have no state income tax. I bet the property tax rate doubles as housing prices fall.
