I thought I'd post this request on the forums specifically, since you all are the more active members of the Seattle Bubble community.

We're going to have a tough time beating the Lookout Landing crowd in this round of the local blog tournament, so I was hoping that some of you might be willing to beg for votes on whatever other forums / blogs you visit.

I'd really enjoy taking out the cocky sports blogs in this thing, but I need your help. Also, in case you haven't seen, there is a good handful of prizes for winning this thing, and if we win, I'm planning to give away half of them on the blog.

So let's win this thing, people.

Bleh.

When the contest started I was enthusiastic and upbeat about it. Now just two days in, I'm already sick of it. With the baseball fanatics saying things like "If we don't win, nobody wins," all but coming out and admitting that they will do whatever it takes to win, and making numerous personal attacks, it's just not as fun anymore.

I don't really care what those guys think about me or our site, and obviously I still want us to win, but the sports crazies have sucked all the life out of this competition. Previous rounds were entertaining and fun, this round is about as enjoyable as a fistfight.

It's not if you win or loose it's how you play the game. Tim, you are being noticed for your style and presence. You have a following now that stops in everyday, SB is our RE blog fix. That is really impressive. Come on people, lets win this!

In unrelated news, here is a list of things that make me happy:

• The flowers in our various flower beds are starting to bloom, and our bleeding heart plant has peeked up out of the ground, primed for another banner year.
• The birds are frequently visiting our feeder.
• I got to do a game test at Microsoft last week
• No matter how much I beat them, my dogs still seem to love me.
• I've almost gotten all 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy

(kidding about the beating the dogs part, but they do love me )

Well, that's that. It's too bad, really. For what it's worth, if LL somehow doesn't get booted from this round, I recommend people go vote for the winner of the Coyote bracket in the final. Not that it will really matter, obviously. Oh well.

Hey, I love the classic Mario games. I don't have every single Mario game (e.g. - any of the Mario Party or Mario sports games), but the classic platforming ones are golden.
