Spamming Spammer Tim Dunn out of the REALTOR biz?

Those who have been hanging around the site a while might remember the "other Tim" - Tim Dunn - who spammed the blog for a while and then went of to start his own "counter" blog called Seattle Bubble?

For those who need reminding, Tim's stated purpose for creating the site was:

This is a forum for posting actual facts about the Seattle area real estate market. It is designed to counterbalance the hysteria and hype found on seattlebubble.blogspot.com with actual facts - Unattributed allegations will be challenged, sources demanded, and anecdotal evidence will be critiqued as being inherently insufficient when used to attempt to establish general conclusions

I got curious about what ol' Tim was up to this morning and browsed over the site. His last post was in July, and his business site - http://www.dunnanddunnrealtors.com now redirects to http://www.bigcatcatamarans.com

Leaving the real estate biz and entering the big-yacht business in the midst of a major recession. Brilliant

For a guy who commented on his own blog that "I suppose that some [Bubbleheads] are sheepishly trickling out of the cave, one by one, hoping not to be noticed." and "Seattlebubble.com hysteria looks more amusing than ever." he sure went out with a whimper. Or is that without a whimper?

Thanks for the great update. And what an unappealing new website Mr Dunn has created. I wonder where his shrewd business instincts will take him next?

He sells kits and plans so you see it's perfect for recessionary times. I love the mid-90's era web design, especially the autoplaying music. I didn't realize that "webrings" still existed.
