The Avondale Albatross Returns Yet Again!

Quick refresher here: http://seattlebubble.com/blog/2007/12/13/anecdote-this-place-again-seriously/

Last noted at $1,490,000 a year ago: http://seattlebubble.com/blog/2008/04/23/some-local-home-listing-anecdotes/

Pulled from the market in August, now back for round 3 at $1,500,000:

From the photos it looks as though it's never even been lived in since the completion of construction in early 2006.

  • If I were forced to describe that place with one word, I think I would choose malignant. What a beast. Hope springs eternal for the poor fools trying to unload that thing.
  • Wow, price dropped $300,000 yesterday down to $1,200,000--less than it sold for in March 2007 (but probably still overpriced).

  • Uh-oh, looks like someone might really be in trouble here. Price dropped another $200,000 today, now down to $1,000,000 (21% off January 2007 sale price).

  • A curiously fast price drop. This is becoming interesting.
  • Saw a "Sold!" placard applied to the sign when I drove by yesterday.
