Funny thing, went up to Magnolia to play softball this weekend, passed a ton of open house signs.

Damn, that story is just sad. Hard to believe people could be that inhuman.

I don't think he's real either. FWIW, San diego is experiencing a price drop in housing and they have a good employment base there also. Might be hinting at things to come.

DJ, I look at that and think, wow, I never thought it would happen that fast and I have been a real estate bear since 2005. Nice data, thanks.

Yes, just wait until the MOM numbers become horrific as well. So, the spring glut is done, now what happens when the summer selling season begins? Better yet, with the spring inventory piling high, the summer inventory beginning to build, what wou…

See my last post for this thread, couple of good articles by Jim Jubak regarding the reason (or lack thereof) for the recent market run-up. http://seattlebubble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=260

I guess my point is that they could be another source of inflation. As they don't have to pay closing costs or get a discount or the realtor fees either. If they are bullish on the real estate market, then they just figure it's as good as a 10-20%…

I believe the run-up will have a downfall. I also believe the recent run-up has a lot to do with the fact that there is really no other place to put your money, no more real estate to speculate. Sell in May and go away. Keep your money in cash, g…

GDP grew at 1.3% for the 1st quarter of 07. Cut later this year.

Best run since 1955! I have to admit, it befuddles me.

K, I was in Chicago for the weekend, which is why I didn't respond to finance's stupid reply with an article giving a job growth forecast. Sheesh, who made the forecast? Dr. Lereah? Re Tard.

That's because the dude didn't listen to Armando Montelongo. He is da man.
