A San Diego investigative reporter, John Mattes, is assaulted while investigating a story uncovering an “alleged” real estate fraud ring. Apparently, the ring leader was very pissed off that he was found out. The scam involved buying property with other peoples stolen identities. Trend Marches On: Supply Up, Demand Down
