Detrimental Listing Photos
(or, Why Your House Won't Sell)
I've encountered some really bad listing photos recently that are big detriments to the house from my point of view. Sometimes it's something wrong with the house itself, and sometimes it's just a bad photo. Either way, since I enjoy the Eastside Flops, Audacious Renovations, and Comp Killer threads so much, I thought I'd start one for people to share bad listing photos as well.

Love that floor!
A good one from the Eastside Flops thread, and my commute to work. Anyone care for a game of shuffleboard...in the hallway?
Some great photography there. Why even upload these photos?
The stained carpets, the drapes, and the picture outlines... priceless!
What exactly are they trying to show here? That there's room for storage? The same photo is actually posted twice.
Nothing shows the greatness of a house like the dirt under the fridge or an empty TP roll.
Images are actual size, and the first one is the primary listing photo. I think they were taken with a photo booth.
I am guessing that because there is no refrigerator, then the blue Coleman cooler can be listed as a "high-end custom appliance," right?
No...actually they would need this Coleman model.

And Tim certainly wouldn't be laughing if they had this stainless steel flyswatter...

If you like this thread, you will love the blog at http://www.lovelylisting.com/, called "It's Lovely, I'll Take It!"
Photos are submitted from around the globe, but I believe the blogger is based in WA state and it is rather overrepresented.
Maybe some folks from Seattle Bubble can send worthwhile photos her way?
Actual image size.
Sold! Where do I sign?
"Shut up! Just shut up . . . you had me at 'green dryer'"
Seriously, that dryer must date back to the 1950s. I've never seen appliances that color before (bathroom fixtures, yes).
Wow, jackpot.
Fixer-upper indeed.

Behold the amazing view!
From the description... In other words, get ready to live directly adjacent to a major construction site (as soon as the economy picks back up, that is).
Sweet looking property.
