  • This one is good. Didn't have time to reupload pics. http://www.redfin.com/search#!search_location=135917 Empty wall, Toilet, Disassembled bed. Great pics.
  • Here is the MLS 77510
  • That 3 story stuff just kills me. There is a project going up on Meridian this week I think, 2 story homes on 9K square foot lots. Check it out I think they are starting Friday. Called Shelton Estates around 228th and Meridian intersection toward…
  • Perfect fire actually you are right on. $50k per U then looking at the current listings and state of that POS.
  • Wonder if these home owners would vote for a mass short sale of $150k per Unit each. Would be a good deal, The people need a good attorney, builder/developer had an insurance policy covering defects, and WA laws are 6 yers.
  • This is what I would call a great addition to the field of agents. Maybe he is so busy with his cleaning job or bartending, no time to focus on pictures. MLS no 29159950 Call this one "This house is so good, I took pictures driving by it"
  • Whats wrong with getting paid in business? Isn't that what business is formed for?
  • This is the site I use when putting a place up for rent myself. A good guide on market and what is out there. http://www.zilpy.com/
  • Great web presence Dave. Nice!!!! Still the point being is that costs are where it is at for the manufacturer, and labor unions have decimated any reasonable hiring costs, when you compare union vs. non-union. Its facts. Costs are higher in union…
  • http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2009 ... and-union/ Wow what a vote. People would much rather have a job then a union. Sounds like a real democracy.
  • Let me lay it out for the multitasking agent with no sales, house cleaner, home inspector, domain entrepreneur without operating site, and a fixer upper flipper. Markor quoted an article where GM says they are not making CRAPPY cars anymore. I…
  • Markor wrote: According to Bob Lutz at GM, the cars are no longer crappy. Yet the union wages are still there and the cars compete on price with the Japanese autos. Then how? Answer is that labor costs were not the major factor driving customers a…
  • Markor wrote: Just because unions cause some problems doesn't mean they do more harm than good. Detroit assembly line workers didn't design those crappy cars. Had non-union workers made them they'd still be junk but the upper management would've t…
  • davidlosh wrote: Non Union workers are bad for America and contrary to the American Way of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Did you think before this sentence came out or it was another Lush burp?
  • The net effect would probably be lay offs of at least 20% of ex-union laborers as they are dead weight as it is with no productivity. Ex-union employees staying would receive the same take home pay as they were before, accept there won't be any over…
  • Bill, your frustrations are shared by a lot of people IMO. My friends who are looking for new homes have already stopped looking for new and considering 5 yr old. Well nothing is in that category for them either. Now they are changing areas, etc. et…
  • Same here. $350 a month. The employees at are sapping $3400 a month. My friends employees are taking off $4000+ every month in health care costs. Its like hiring older then 30+ makes no sense any more, cheaper to hire younger.
  • Thank you Dave. Love that. And definately anyone can make money in Real Estate and developing, you are correct.
  • davidlosh@davidlosh.com wrote: Bad deal. In my opinion a builder should be paying people to take the house if they agree to make some payments. I think builders should offer to make the first six months of payments to anyone agreeing to make at…
  • I am of the same opinion as Dj. However it would be interesting to see if it did hit that level at this time. Market seems to not be able to bear it.
  • Bonds however have a weird tendency to be liquidated at 0. And all it is a piece of paper with an obligation to pay. A house is fixed.
  • Jill, On bigger projects there is retail value and whole sale value. They are different at appraisals. If a bulding of 500u in bulk sold for X per unit doesn't mean that each unit is only worth x at retail, and it won't be counted in retail apprai…
  • Considering REITs are working on two deals right now in Downtown to buy at 50 cents on the dollar, that condo insider is nuts. The fault here is that he KNOWS about this happening.
  • ira, the rate we were clipping them off was about 5 times higher though, so a buyer looking at the house saw it sell by morning in '06. The inventory is seriously getting depleted. My friend is looking in Kenmore for $500k or less. Try punching that…
  • Billy, starts are a good thing for the market, that means no units coming in at an emergent pace. Builders right now cannot get financing if their life even depended on it which it does. The article you are referring to also points out that mainl…
  • Tell them you prefer to pay in cash only, and mail them a package of monopoly money.
  • There is a good group of two agents out of Bellevue office that my friend used a few times mostly on investment properties, they did great on getting offers accepted, send it in one week rejected, then send another one in two weeks later even at a l…
  • IMO Only. With the current builder/bank incentives of 3.87% and 4.2% on some projects I see consistantly selling, on a 30 yr fixed if you negotiate well enough the 164St interchange and Bothell Evt. Highway offers some interesting deals, get an age…
